We opened in 2015 with a life-long passion for all dogs and simple goals and aspirations; create a safe, clean, fun, and affordable place for pets of all ages, large and small, to stay for the day, or stay for the week. To become a home away from home, where safety, caring, and comfort is priority.
Office hours are by appointment only. For information, please call (and leave a message) or email. We do not have a dedicated office person and may not have staff available to assist walk-ins as we are busy caring for the dogs. We appreciate your understanding.
- Before you visit, we have a few rules:
- All dogs must be on a leash and under control at all times.
- Do not allow your pet to greet other dogs or their handlers. Not all dogs on the premises are friendly with other dogs and some may be friendly but leash reactive and protective of their owners while on leash. Some are working on leash manners and reactivity and your dogs too-friendly greeting may not be accepted warmly. Be courtious, always give other dogs and their handlers space.
- Our entry and office area is a bit cramped. If there is a dog or a human in the entry please wait outside, with your dog under control.
- Please do not approach any fenced areas with dogs in them no matter how cute they are. Again, not all dogs are friendly and we are not a petting zoo.
- Do not allow your dog to approach a fenced area. Greetings thru fences is not the ideal way to (and is never recommended) introduce two dogs and doing so can sometimes cause fear and/or aggression/fence-fighting. Stay back, and again, keep your dog under control.
- When picking up or dropping off your pet for daycare, grooming, or boarding, please end your cell phone conversations and come inside promptly. Do not sit in your car. We prepare your pet, and prepare to receive your pet, when we see you arrive. We do not have time to wait for you to end your call.
- Please allow your pet to relieve himself in the designated area before your grooming appointment. There is almost nothing worse than poop in the bath tub.
- Male dog owners: It is possible to train your males to only urinate where you allow/command him to. Don't let your boys piss all over everything, here, or any where else you take them in the community! That's just plain rude and bad manners.
- Our "Golden Rule": make every encounter and interaction with a dog (your dog) a TRAINING OPPORTUNITY! Training is an ongoing, continual, lifelong process. Don't let a good opportunity to teach or reinforce something pass you by.
- Thank you for your cooperation!
